Happy Monday! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. We had a fun weekend away and I am feeling very refreshed and ready to take on the week.
Today a new sketch challenge is revealed at The Memory Nest
and I am excited to show you what I created with this latest sketch.
Crystal's sketches are always so inspiring. I love all the layers that she uses.
Here is the layout that I created:
The photo was taken as my hubby and I were heading out on the town to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Fifteen years ago I went out dancing with my friends and spotted this cute guy across the dance floor. Now we have been married for over a decade, have two beautiful daughters, and have truly built a life together. Isn't it crazy to think that as I got dressed in my orange sundress to go out all those years ago, that I was completely clueless how monumental that night would be in my life?
I used paper from the Authentique Paper Company for this layout. I am not really familiar with this company as I bought the paper in a clearance sale (I say that a lot).
I love these little wooden hearts (by Studio Calico) and have used them in some of my recent work (see here
). They are so versatile and just the perfect little embellishment.
I used my Silhouette (after I dusted it off) to cut out my title which is a design I purchased from their online store.
Another fantastic sketch challenge, I must say. As always, the other ladies on the Design Team have done an incredible job creating based on this sketch. Do pop over to The Memory Nest
to see their projects; it is truly an honor and inspiration to work with these talented ladies.
