Christmas Baking
This week, with these two helpers, I got my Christmas baking done.
The girls job was mainly quality control - making sure that the M&Ms, Hershey kisses, and chocolate chips were up to their standards; by the number they gobbled up, I think everything was more than okay.
It was a successful baking day. We made M&M chocolate chip cookies,
Shortbread Kisses,
and Santa's Whiskers.
This was the first time that I made the M&M chocolate chip cookies (click here for the recipe) and the Shortbread Kisses (click here for the recipe). I have made the Santa's Whiskers for the past several years using a recipe that I have from Better Homes and Gardens 100 Best Cookies Holiday Issue.

Yum! Those all look amazing! I don't know why I've never thought to make chocolate chip M&M cookies... my husband loves M&M's and chocolate chip cookies so this could be a match made in heaven.

DeleteThe M&M chocolate chip cookies are amazing. I have had to hide them in the cupboard so that my husband and girls do not eat them all before Christmas.
Your unbaked cookies look delicious...I'll definitely add them to my 'recipes to try' list.
